FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kundalini Activation?

Kundalini Activation is a direct transmission of life force energy that activates your body's own Kundalini energy. Unlike guided meditation or breathwork, it's a on-directive process - you simply lie down and receive. Responses vary from person to person and session to session, and might include physical movement, emotional releases, tingling, visions, or deep stillness.

Do I need any experience with meditation or energy work?

Not at all. Kundalini Activation is suitable for complete beginners. There's nothing to learn, practise or do. Your body knows exactly what to do with the energy it receives.

What happens in a group session?

You'll lie down on a yoga mat, fully clothed and comfortable. I'll move around the room and work with each person's energy field. Music plays throughout. Sessions will last between 60 and 90 minutes including some time to settle in and integrate at the end.

What might I experience during a session?

Experiences vary widely and there's no "right" response. Some people feel deep relaxation or bliss, others experience movement, shaking, laughter, tears of vivid inner imagery. Some people feel very little the first time - that's equally valid. Kundalini Activation works whether or not you have a dramatic experience.

Is Kundalini Activation safe?

Kundalini Activation is generally safe for most people. However, it's not suitable for individuals who have a history of mania, psychosis, or delusions, epilepsy, heart conditions or are in their third trimester of pregnancy. If you're unsure whether Kundalini Activation is right for you, feel free to get in touch before booking.

Is there anything I can do to prepare for a session?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing you're happy to lie down in. Water is a good idea for afterwards. You don't need to bring a yoga mat, or blanket - these are provided. Feel free to bring your own eye mask if you prefer to use one - all participants must have their eyes closed throughout the session.

Try to avoid food in the three hours before your session. Avoid alcohol, caffeine or drugs 24 hours before your session.

Try to arrive with an open mind and without strong expectations. The less you try to control the experience, the more you tend to receive.
