About

My first Kundalini activation was in August 2024. I didn't really know what I was walking into. But looking back, I think some part of me had been moving towards it for a long time.

I was born in rural Russia and raised by my grandmother, a woman I loved completely. The early years of my life were shaped by her hands, her kitchen, her way of being in the world. That foundation meant everything to me.

But when I was six, I was taken to Greece. And the world I landed in didn't know what to do with me, and I didn't know what to do with it. I was different in ways that were immediately visible: the way I spoke, where I was from, how I looked at things. The discrimination was real and it was constant. Children can be brutal, and so can adults who should know better.

What made it more complicated was the history underneath it all. My family are Pontic Greeks, a community forcibly displaced to Russia to escape genocide. That history of being uprooted, of surviving by enduring, of carrying grief without naming it, was in the air I grew up breathing. It shaped how my family moved through the world, and in turn, how I did.

And then there was the part of me I carried quietly for years. Being gay in a cultural environment that had no real space for it. The discrimination I faced wasn't just from strangers. It came from within the communities I was supposed to belong to. That particular kind of rejection, the one that comes from your own people, sits differently, it goes deeper.

So by the time I walked into that first session, I was carrying a lot. Layers of displacement, of not quite fitting anywhere, of grief that had never fully been acknowledged, of a body that had learned to brace itself.

What happened in that room was the beginning of something I still don't have complete words for. Things that had been held tightly for decades started to move. My nervous system, which had been on guard for most of my life, began slowly to soften. I started feeling my emotions in real time instead of managing them from a distance. Patterns I had inherited, across generations and across borders, began to loosen.

For the first time I felt like I could just be myself. Not performing resilience. Not navigating who I was allowed to be around which people, just present and whole.

I trained as a Kundalini Activation facilitator with PRISM because I couldn't walk away from that experience. I work with people who are carrying things that are hard to name: identity, grief, the weight of histories that aren't entirely their own. People who are ready to feel different, even if they're not sure yet what different looks like.
You don't have to have a story like mine to come to this work. But if any of it resonates, you're welcome here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Kundalini Activation?

Kundalini Activation is a direct transmission of life force energy that activates your body's own Kundalini energy. Unlike guided meditation or breathwork, it's a on-directive process - you simply lie down and receive. Responses vary from person to person and session to session, and might include physical movement, emotional releases, tingling, visions, or deep stillness.

Do I need any experience with meditation or energy work?

Not at all. Kundalini Activation is suitable for complete beginners. There's nothing to learn, practise or do. Your body knows exactly what to do with the energy it receives.

What happens in a group session?

You'll lie down on a yoga mat, fully clothed and comfortable. I'll move around the room and work with each person's energy field. Music plays throughout. Sessions will last between 60 and 90 minutes including some time to settle in and integrate at the end.

What might I experience during a session?

Experiences vary widely and there's no "right" response. Some people feel deep relaxation or bliss, others experience movement, shaking, laughter, tears of vivid inner imagery. Some people feel very little the first time - that's equally valid. Kundalini Activation works whether or not you have a dramatic experience.

Is Kundalini Activation safe?

Kundalini Activation is generally safe for most people. However, it's not suitable for individuals who have a history of mania, psychosis, or delusions, epilepsy, heart conditions or are in their third trimester of pregnancy. If you're unsure whether Kundalini Activation is right for you, feel free to get in touch before booking.

Is there anything I can do to prepare for a session?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing you're happy to lie down in. Water is a good idea for afterwards. You don't need to bring a yoga mat, or blanket - these are provided. Feel free to bring your own eye mask if you prefer to use one - all participants must have their eyes closed throughout the session.

Try to avoid food in the three hours before your session. Avoid alcohol, caffeine or drugs 24 hours before your session.

Try to arrive with an open mind and without strong expectations. The less you try to control the experience, the more you tend to receive.
